28/11/21: Movement Cure : Mobility for LBP
For those of you currently in pain/discomfort, only do these exercises to what you are able to tolerate and please stop should you experience pain. Grab your bolster, blocks and a strap as we focus on gentle mobilisation of the spine and pelvis. The type of back pain we're looking is disk inflammation/irritation, typically aggravated by forward bending and rotation. We're keeping the movement simple and lineaer, no combos between spinal flexion and side bending/rotation.
Mellow sessions for all levels and ideal for beginners to promote awareness and release physical and emotional tension for all levels.
We may use the following props:
a bolster, strap, blocks, resistance band, chair, wall space, 1-2 blankets.
