40 days of Yoga Challenge
I have selected 40 classes which can ne practiced consecutively. There is a beginners option featuring Yogalates and Movement Cure sessions, and an Intermediate - advanced option for those with more experience.
Beginners - Intermediate 40 Days of Yoga...
Movement Cure: Fascia Flow
This class safely loads and unwinds our fascia, it will leave you feeling looser with great range of movement. Fascia is connective tissue that envelops every structure in our body, so its influence is far reaching. Got a sore tight muscle? It might actually be the surrounding fascia! Like all structures it can be come sensitive and cause restrictions.
Yogalates: Drills & Spills (no standing)
You will need blocks or something to sit on for this class taught entirely on the floor. Some upper back and shoulder activation but this class mostly targets our legs and glutes. Whilst the movements are small, they're working into hip stabilisers; a big group of muscle so you will feel this!
S L I D E
We're using sliders and a sturdy chair focussing primarily on hip strengthening, namely your glutes, hamstrings inner and outer thighs and challenging our balance. We're also using the chair for upper body mobility and strength, upward/down ward dog and tricep dips. If you don't have dedicated sliders use these alternatives: For wooden floors use a pair of folded hand towels (socks can be used but bear in mind you'll need to remove them for the non slidey work as it's a slip hazard) On carpet cut out cardboard or paper plates work great.
